Unicarriers Aftermarket Forklift Parts: Advantages & Disadvantages

What are aftermarket forklift parts when it comes to lift trucks? Aftermarket refers to any part made by anyone other than the OEM. OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer. In terms of forklifts, this would be the name brand of the forklifts such as Nissan, Unicarriers, Hyster, Clarck or Toyota. While many of these brands have third parties making their OEM equipment, that equipment is OEM because it carries the brand name of the lift truck. Anything that does not fall into this category is an aftermarket product by definition.

OEM forklift parts are usually available through dealerships. However, you can also order them through your mechanic if you want to wait several days for them to arrive. Are there any disadvantages to aftermarket lift truck parts? There are disadvantages to using aftermarket products. If your forklift is currently under warranty, if you use an aftermarket product, you may be risking losing all or part of your warranty. It is also necessary to know that some aftermarket products may not be of the same caliber as OEM versions. Some do not come with any form of warranty attached.
